80s Airhead in Commercial?
« on: May 01, 2013, 10:05:51 PM »
Just saw a Canada Dry commercial which featured-- very briefly, early on-- a roadside parked Airhead, probably of 80s vintage (full loop striping on side of tank). Anyone else seen it-- and can you identify it (R65, R80, R100, etc.)?

Here is another current commercial that has an airhead as a main character.

Haha!   Yes, that last one is a modern Ural!  The ginger ale commercial images gets too fuzzy as I enalrge it to try to tell if the bike has wire wheels, or snowflakes - and from the angle I can't tell if it is a /7 seat or what.   Definitely a BMW, I think.

I'm thinking it looks clearer on a television broadcast, but then, you can't pause it.  Good eye, Burt!

Here is the long shot showing the airhead and also a shot of it in the crowd. There are knee pads on the tank and a grab rail on the back of the seat so its not an R65. Any guesses what model it is?

Looks like this thread needs an identification 'poll'. ::)
