MotoGP in Austin, Texas

Three weeks and we're there. Bengt Phorqs and his bride will be with us as will our Soldier son -who scored a free pit pass. Should SFC Miller have the duty on Friday, I'm snagging that pass!

Marquez looks to be promising on the Honda

The newest Repsol/Honda rider set fastest lap during last week's Honda and Yamaha test sessions at COTA. A rider to watch. Time for the "old guys" to move over. Rossi, back on Yamaha, was well down the leader board... Marquez was a full second faster than all the others. May be a very interesting season.

I'm a Rossi fan, he never tests too well especially over the last 2 yrs but I'm hoping he'll still have his race head and not a 'got something to prove' head.

Read an article the other day about Lorenzo worried Marquez will be a bigger threat than pedrosa
Looking forward to Thursdays sessions

My soon to be son in law and I will be attending MotoGP at austin.
Recieved my tickets last week.
First trip on the K1100 and the R65 will be out of intensive care by then with a new piston and valve job. Must remember to carry a tow strap just in case.
Hope we meet!!

Jealous!  Hope you have a great time.  We attended the MotoGP in Indy for a couple of years and there is nothing like it!  If Texas were a little closer, we might be there, too.  It may be in the plans for a future year, though.

Looking forward to hearing exciting reports from you.  Qatar this weekend!!  So glad to be able to start watching the races again.   ;D

Monte: As you know at sundays race I will be surrounded by a red sea of Ducati Zealots.
I need help in finding the most disturbingly obvious BMW Airhead cap or shirt that can put the italian mob in its place.
Any suggestions?

From the looks of the first Free Practice session at Qatar today, you just might actually have a RACE to watch.   ;)  ROSSI's BACK!   ;D
