While picking up Suraklyn from the BMW Stealer Dealer I scoped out the 1600 GTL bikes.  Man, what a monster and a price north of $26 large!!!  The R1300RTs are very sporty looking but are a fortune as well.  I will probably never be able to afford another new bike...

Yes, things are getting out of hand, pricewise and sizewise at both the BMW and H-D dealers.   At least (most) of the Japanese bikes are still within attainable limits.

I can't foresee purchasing another new BMW, or any other motorcycle for that fact that the prices have gotten out of control from my viewpoint .

Y'all might want to hold off on buying one of the new BMW R1200GS. Customer deliveries have been halted!

Three recalls, so far. The latest and most serious issue involves the Telelever and its attachment to the steering plate. Whoopsie... where did that front wheel go?
