How fast do you want your Cafe Racer to be?  We are on public roads, and the R65 can achieve a speed that will lose you tour licence in one go i.e. 100mph.
 

Did 110 yesterday on the way into work.. Quite pleasant with minimal traffic on the highway, except for the cold.. about 35F.  Not sure about the licensing aspect here in Texas, although I think I've read that there's no "reckless driving" citation... just a fine based on the miles over the limit.  And an extra license fee if you rack up too many tickets.

Good idea, will be good to have a meet up, don't meet many that like the R65, or have tried the R65.


Not too sure about the uncomfortableness of the superbikes, I love them.
Far too much speed but quite comfy, i've done 200 miles+ in a day on it (and i've had 3) and toured it to the south of France.

When the 65 is sorted i'd be up for a cuppa.
I'm in Leeds but more than happy for an excuse to ride out!

actually it sounds like it'd be a scream! we'll have to sort something for when the weathers better! be quite cool to see a group of r65s , they'll think the circus is in town!
