MotoGP in Austin, y'all!

Not too early to start planning for the MotoGP circus at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, 19-21 April 2013.

Just purchased a pair of 3-day passes and reserved seats. Been watching ticket sales and they are already moving rapidly. Did not want to miss out so pulled the trigger fairly early.

Bengt Phorqs, aka Mike Crenshaw, made contact with me just now. He and his bride, also joined the party. Same section, same row, same race. Go figure that! Almost like we planned it or something.

The Circuit looks impresive watched the F!,whats the tower with the platform overlooking the circuit.. bet you pay an arm and a leg to get up there unless you know someone  [smiley=lolk.gif]

I believe you nailed it, Lou. Appeared to be some high-paying lookie-loos up top. Could be risky... didn't see a Texas outhouse up there.

I'm not sure about the tower thing (hmmm Austin, Charles Whitman, towers???) but the three day passes seem to be affordable.  We're looking forward to the experience.  Anyone else care to join us in Austin in April?
