California Hwy patrol ride R1200's - I went to A&S BMW in Roseville today for a Powerlet to install on my Harley for the GPS - I parked & out of there corner of my eye & saw a CHP Officer polishing his patrol bike while parked in a Handi-Cap parking spot - see the sign - 250 dollar fine - I started to do a citizen arrest but I got a cup of coffee instead

I once owned a small weekly newspaper. One day my wife and I went to Arby's for lunch and parked in four handicapped spaces was a state of GA government car. Not only did he park in a handicapped zone, but took up four spaces.
After the picture ran, we had a call saying the man would never consider parking in a handicapped zone again. I saw him again at another fast food store and he was not driving a state vehicle.
I was asked to do a story on all the good he was doing with a program to find mentally challenged people jobs in fast food. The only thing I saw him do the day he parked in a handicapped space was try to impress the female manager at Arby's.

I think that you should have approached the CHP and asked where he was displaying his handicap parking permit on the bike, and, if he did move it immediately, you'd just let him off with a warning - this time.

Otherwise, maybe you should just send a print of the picture to the local police office, (or newspaper) making sure that it is high enough resolution to be able to read the license tag on the back..
