The box of freeby bits has arrived for the K, anyone know what the rubber bit is?? ive just price the parts up at Motobins and there is near to £450 pounds worth, the Monoshock has a price tag of £360...Lucky me.
As you can see now the fairing is off most of the work is cosmetic.

I've got something a bit similar on the oilhead, it covers the fuel lines, at least on my bike on the left hand side below the fuel tank .

It's got a pin, with what looks like an arrow head on the end, it goes into a rubber grommet on the frame .
