Nice little scrambler project in November OTL
« on: November 30, 2011, 07:33:02 PM »
Is anyone else a BMW RA member?    I *just* received my NOVEMBER On The Level magazine from them, and there is a short (2page) article by a Harald Sauer who built a high-pipe "scrambler" bike (with pics) using a 1972 R75/5 frame, toaster tank, and an R45 (not R65) donor powerplant.   The end result does actually look pretty good, and appropriately "vintage".   H

I *thought* that I could get access to an electronic copy of the magazine and post a link, but it doesn't seem to be working.   If I can't figure it out, will try scanning the paper copy.
