I'm looking for the BMW Multivario tank bag (I think) can anyone advise where I might one?  Or if there are other tank bags you can suggest for the LS, I would appreciate it.

I don't have a multi-vario tank bag, but I do have Nelson-Rigg panniers and Cortech tank bag - I'd definitely recommend you to take a look at those brands and they seem to be well made and not so expensive, IMO.  I've had these for at least 5 years now and they've given good service with no signs of wearing out.   My tank bag is an expandable one with detachable map pocket and is held on with magnets.   I definitely like the ease with which  I can just take it with me into a restaurant, etc. while on the road.
