Interesting!  I wonder how well it holds up over time, and in cold weather?

Haven't tried that brand, but I have a Schuberth C3 with a manually operated sun visor.  It does a good job.  Just don't know how it will hold up over time.

In lieu of an entire tinted shield, there's a wet-and-stick-on (with credit card as bubble-remover) tinted plastic strip, about 4 cm wide, for the inner surface of the clear shield, at the top—it works quite well. Bought mine about 3 years ago for ~US$15. Costly for its size, but worth it, IMHO. (Sorry, can't remember the brand name. Try www.safecycle.com (or www.safecycling.com; I suffer from brain mush).)

I have a polar optics sunblocker pasted to the inside of my Shoie Dark smoke visor.  I think it was about $15.00.

Got my wet n' stick Sunblocker from HelmetHeaddotcom
http://www.helmetheadcycle.com/subcat/157/eye-wear-protection/sun-visors

I like it mucho but did use an xActo knife to do a little custom shaping -narrowed it a bit. Initially, it blocked too much of the road view but now is just right for late afternoon westward rides.

I use Brown 3 polarized perscription sunclasses, which show a craze pattern  through plastic  face shields.  THis info may help me find an alternative.

I have a Sunblocker stick-on on all of my helmets (which are otherwise clear shields).      It works pretty well, but this new fangled technology could be a nice change in new helmets when the time comes.

I have tryed this for awhile now.  I realy like it. I bought the automatic one. I have it set to go dark in the shade.  I you have it to only work in the normal auto mode it will flash on and off going through trees and when the sun is to you back it will be off. When set to go dark in the shade it will always be dark when it is in bright light regarless of the sun poistion.
