We're not planning on attending any BMW MOA rallies anytime soon until the Brain Trust that decides these things either a) schedule it for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, so that working people can bookend the rally with two weekends; or b) schedule it for more middle America.  A 1500 mile ride for Theresa and I is three long days in the saddle, and then three more back with no time for sight seeing in there.

I'm sure that being in the northeast it will be a very well attended rally.  There will only be a handful of riders from my local club in attendance, and most of those are retired with very flexible schedules.  Rant over.

I'll be looking for you at the rally, but I'm coming from the middle of New Hampshire.

John, if you would be leaving on the Tuesday i might consider meeting as I will probably cross at lewiston but Derek and I think it wise for me to take my time for safety sake. I know it isn't far....but....I have a bit more miles than you but not too many from meaford.

Lost our dear cat Hobbes after 16 years and feeling very fragile about almost everything right now. If there is a huge heatwave predicted i may decide it just isn't worth going. Ya gotta be in the right frame of mind for safe riding, that is for sure.

Sorry about your cat, Sue.  No matter how long they live, you're still not done with them.

Sorry to hear about Hobbes, Sue!

I am sure that he had a wonderful, long life with you and that he'll be waiting for you to scratch him behind the ears in the next place we all get to.   We'd love to see you at the rally, but definitely DO take things at your own pace and make your own decision when the time comes - we all understand and much prefer you to be safe rather than sorry!

Mike 'n Sue, I will miss seeing you guys at the rally.  My work schedule just won't allow it this year. Sue, I am so sorry about Hobbes. I know he had a great life in your care.

Neal !!!

Glad to hear from you!      I'm sorry that we'll miss you this time, too.   I'll have to pack my own flask of special sippin' juice, now!

Take care and I hope you have time to enjoy your summer!

LRB and I are thinking much more positively about going to Bloomsburg now, so I think it is a go! See ya there if everything works out!!
Aw, Neal...we'll have a drink for ya! Eckhart has my camping gear already on its way there as he and Ingrid are travelling in their toy hauler and have Dave's and my heavy gear in the back of the pickup! So that will make the trip a lot more enjoyable without all that extra weight! Every ounce is impt. at my age!!
