Do ya just take the old one off..pop on the new one? Or do you send them your seat and they rebuild it? How does it work?

Never ordered one, but I was going to.  I called them about a year ago, and they no longer do them for the 1982 model year.  You may want to call them direct.

Scotty,

I'm no help on an Airhead Corbin seat but I have a Corbin on my Triumph. It's all Corbin and fits just like the factory seat. Has a composite material base.

Old off, new on.

I think the only new airhead Corbin seat you can buy fits the R100S.  I'm not sure if they will repair/rebuild the OEM seat.  Monte has a guy in Denton that he's been using for about 50 years (or so he says).  Perry uses someone here in town that does really nice work.

I also have a Corbin on my 98 Kawasaki Concours that swaps out perfectly with the stock seat.   But, it seems that they are dropping models from their catalog list once they get past a certain number of years old.   Generally, if one can get one, they are -or used to be- very good about repairing beat up ones, even if very old.    There are some other custom seats makers that will use your seat/pan as the starting point.
