That has to be a b*tch to stabilize.  No wonder he has only tested it tethered -- by pulling up on the tethers they provide stability.

As cool as it is I don't want to ride anything that relies on exploding parachutes if there is a failure at altitude. Just let me coast off on the shoulder and I will be happy.
