Hi all.
I am 42 years old photographer from Helsinki Finland. New to this forum and new to BMW bikes also.

I have been looking for reasonably priced R90S for some years now but those are quite hard to find. So when I today stumbled to a nice 1983 R65 and the price was right, I just had to buy it.  
It is an ex-Swiss police bike and only 39K miles in clock. Not maybe a beauty queen, but decent and well kept. I send some pictures later.

In my "two wheeler fleet" the R65 is a quite a superbike, since my other rides are five oldie Vespa scooters.

I have some friends in Helsinki - haven't seen them in years though.

When you are able to, please post a picture of your R65 - we love to see what people do to them to make them 'personal'.

Vespa scooters are becoming somewhat of a collectable item, too.

Welcome aboard. Yes, do post up some shots of your "new" R65 plus I, for one, would enjoy seeing your vespa fleet. I had a lovely Vespa GS back in the mid-60s. Miss it... now.
