Any one know where a fella could pick up a cafe racer style seat for the R65, it's not a problem for the larger R bikes but the short wheel base is not being catered for.

Thanks for the Info.
I was onto flatracer.com and they sent me two photos of a prototype seat in progress and that will fit the R65. They hope to have it ready for sale in a few months they said. Thay also asked for feedback.

Have you seen these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BMW-Air-Head-R45-R65-Corbin-style-cafe-racer-seat-unit-/400210291302?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d2e646a66#ht_1118wt_905

I did have a link to their actual site but can't seem to find it now. I'll be interested to hear what they're like. I'm thinking of getting one myself.

Looks quite interesting, though a bit difficult to visualize the final result, I think this one also looks nice
