Overseas shipping containers, it's quite common to hear about stolen vehicles being found in the port of Los Angeles, inside of those truck trailer sized containers .

Stolen Toyota Landcruisers, etc, from Australia show up on Pacific islands from time to time. Customs in Australia are generally more concerned about what is coming into the country.

Without a moat, in Europe stolen vehicles apparently go east, with little to slow them down between western Europe and pretty much anywhere in Eastern Europe, Russia, Asia or even Africa.
