Bing translator is a bit more co-operative

They work very quickly of the Bayerische Motoren Werke, much. Following the launch of its six-cylinder, 1600 K GT, the renewal of the R 1200 R and the development of future work as its maxiscooter and electric scooter, the next revolution, the nth generation boxer engine, is already underway. And the test are the photos spy that we showed you, of low quality; the important thing is not quality, but the news. It is normal that the bikes were shooting at the end of this year, to begin producing in September 2012; but no, motorcycles are equipped with the new liquid-cooled Boxer have begun shooting already, and are circulating on our country.

The news reached the drafting thanks to one of our readers, Gerard Llauradó. Owner of a R 1200 GS, while driving your company car by the mirror saw a pair of motorcycle who approached him. Quickly realized that those bikes were slightly different than yours, so he took out the mobile and managed to shoot two good photos, which you can see in these here. Gerard tells you: "I send you this e-mail to show three photos that I have been able to do them today in the area of Tarragona to what appear to be two R 1200 GS Adventure new model." I have one, and seeing them come by the mirror, I first thought that he was two F 800 GS, as they were not like mine and showed a picture lighter and more slender. After pursuing them km at a speed not very advisable, I could do them these two photos. Sorry for the fair quality, they are made from my mobile and underway. "The truth is that I have been surprised, he had no idea that BMW had so advanced renewal."

Details
The new boxer engine appears externally, but the first thing that draws attention is that the joints is on the left side and the silent single exhaust, high, is on the right side, totally in contrast to the R 1200. The cylinders, with a slight aleteado, changed completely: the exhaust manifold comes out the bottom and the admission is on the upper face of the cylinder - now the opposite to the direction of progress-partly with totally vertical ducts. Obviously, the engine is an eight valves, DOHC, dual spark plug and with electronic fuel injection, although its cylinder capacity could be some 1,270 cc, which would release about 14.5 kgm of torque and a close to the 128 HP power. And the radiator? Therefore well camouflaged, between the plastic closures and the front defenses, which, although different, hold some similarity with the current model. The front of the bike is completely new, more aerodynamic, with a different high fenders and a new front optical group asymmetric, similar to the of the F 800.

At the moment, these are all the data that we have been able to collect on the future R 1300 GS with liquid-cooled boxer engine. Given the lateness of its development - the bike seems to be very well finished-, would not be surprising that new Goldman came into production in September this year and that its marketing given beginning in early 2012. We will be vigilant.

These are the main news presents:
ENGINE liquid cooled with intake and exhaust ducts placed in the top and bottom faces of the cylinder respectively.
Cooling RADIATOR located on the swingarm of the Telelever, hidden between the plastic and the front defenses.
JOINTS located on the left side of the bike, totally in contrast to the R 1200 engine current.
SILENT exhaust with outlet on the right side. With the joints on the left side, there is no place for the passage of the collector. Watch your luggage in the other photo.
FRONTAL changed with new leadership, plastics, defenses, high fenders and optics. It is very similar to a R 1200 GS Adventure today, but it is different.

I've been avoiding Bing.  Perhaps I'll have to rethink my prejudice.

Whoa! Eight Valves... running by DOHC?!  :o

I wonder If they scrapped the oil cooler?
I hope it's a better cooling system, once my Dad's R1150 GS Adventure hits traffic, the temperature goes a bar below redline.  ;D
