Texas Airhead Shop
« on: August 28, 2010, 06:35:19 AM »
Airhead friendly -and knowledgeable- shops are getting rare. These days, indie shops seem to be the best resource.

One of our forum members, Matt, shared his recent discovery with me. Thought I'd pass it along to our R65 asylum internees in the Central Texas regions.

I have used Roger at ONROAD OFFROAD several times. He is an electrical engineer turned motorcycle racer/mechanic. He operates out of his home...his garage is his work shop. This guy is good....he found an electrical short that I could not. Later he put the Omega charging system on for me. Who better to do it than an electrical engineer. If ya got an electrical problem this is a damn good place to go but he does everything on airheads. The local BMW dealer referred me to him because they didn't want to work on my R65.... was too old.
