MY bike is rolling again finally and a found some Red Marzocchi rear suspension on ebay and i have decided on a new wiring harness for the bike and awaiting its arrival from Germany next week  ,after all the drama the bike is far from standard and i am still looking for cosmetics for the bike and my speedo is now from an R100rt and my tappet covers are from an early R90 but she goes and i am up and riding again after more than a year !!
the engine has new internals and the gearbox is brand new and she runs sweetly and starts 1st time even though it is the middle of the winter here!will post photos of the STRANGE looking R65LS as soon as i can

Good to hear from you, how's the healing process, after your collision, with a person that ran across the roadway in front of you ?

Did you have to deal with any legal issues afterwards ?

Hi good to back on the forum again after a very long time your memory serves you correctly and all issues are sorted  out and thanx for all the messages i cant wait to get out and explore the world on 2 wheels again
i am still looking for many parts and i am going to post a list ,hope someone can help !! but that is all for now till tomorrow

Hey Terror, good to have you back lad!  Many's the time I've wondered how your sage came out.  Have you considered installing some of those giant red plastic horns on your R65?  That would be enough to discourage any fool from running across the road if they heard you coming!   [smiley=wink.gif]

Hi all ,will take the advise but i think a solid set of buffalo horns will suit my purpose much better as a deterrent , i am now looking around for battery covers for my bike as well as the Ls fairings ,found a template for the stickers on the Internet that may be of use for one of you guys with an LS ,well i spent the morning at Bmw Motorrad getting a bing service kit as i feel like working on the bike this weekend
