Hey k_enn, do you have a link to that device? sounds interesting.
Every time i post on this subject I keep meaning to add that out of the 3 years I've been parking in this area on the street, this is the first time that anything like this has happened.

The alarm system is the King Cobra motorcycle alarm.  I got it back in the early 1980's.  I think it is discontinued, but you may still be able to find some units around.  It consisted of two products. First was the basic alarm (senors, alarm unit, audible device).  You might find them on Ebay or elsewhere.  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KING-COBRA-MOTORCYCLE-ALARM-SYSTEM-NEW-BOX-/120477742787?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c0d0876c3  The second part is the wireless pager system.  That may be harder to find, but there may be a few units still around.  http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/vintageeurowheels/items/King_Cobra_Pocket_Pager_for_Motorcycle_Alarm___NEW___

I am sure that there are other companies out there that make a similar product.  http://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Automotive-7017-Motorcycle-Paging/dp/B000GZXAEC   Try googling motorcycle alarm pager.

Maybe you can use one of those "look but don't touch" signs that I see when I go to car shows. :)

I need to find a picture of Psycho from Stripes saying 'any of you touch my stuff, I'll kill ya'. I wonder how long it would take before someone tagged it with 'lighten up Francis'.

Fortunately, I've never had anyone move my bike on me, but I have often considered getting an alarm with a pager like the Gorilla or other models.

Once, I did find that someone had left half of a pizza, in a take-out box, on the seat of my motorcycle outside an Italian restaurant that I had been dining in.   I brought it home and ate it for lunch the next day, and called my friends whom I'd had dinner with to thank them for it.   They said "We never left a pizza on your bike - none of us even had pizza last night.".....   Hmmmmm    Well, at least I wasn't poisoned!!

Here in New Jersey, the signs read "you toucha my stuff, I breaka you face."  Gotta love New Jersey, home of the mafia.

I've had two incidents regarding my bikes.

In one of them I was on a ride to Newfoundland and was parked in a mall parking lot.  When we came out there was a woman putting her 4 year old on the bike.  Boy was I livid.  I gave the woman a piece of my mind but put the kid back on the bike and showed him a few of the controls.

In another incident I had just parked my bike (the Goldwing) in a parking spot at a Tim Horton's (fast food outlet) when a guy in a 1 ton 4 wheel drive truck drove up and asked me...no he didn't ask, he told me to park in another spot next to another bike so he could park in my spot.  I looked at where the other bike was parked and determined that there was not enough room because of the way the bike was parked so I refused.  So this guy had to park another 50 feet away..he was annoyed.  As my wife and I walked across the parking lot he floored his truck and took a run at us.  I just stood there knowing that he would stop...he did.  When I was standing in line at the restaurant the guy walked in.  He was about 5 '2" but I guess he had a big ego.  I told him that if he tried that again he would be negotiating with the cops about how to get in touch with a lawyer from his cell.  He just shut up.
