It looks like someone made themselves a dirt bike out of a R25/26/27is engine.

I couldn't find it in that gallery link.  Page #?  I notice a lot of their pictures are not available in the large format.  Is this one such?

I found it (duh...).  And yes, it does have a large copy! :D

Rob - Lou,

My guess is an R25 with a stock frame that's had it's rear section removed and refitted with a more current twin shock construction and the addition of telescopic forks.  I bet Darryl could tell us.

How about a R25 engine/drivetrain put into a post-70 frame of some sort?

Mike - your way would have them creating that entire rear main-frame (sort of looks like it) as well as adding the very stock looking gussets at the headstock.  Pretty ambitious, well, for me, anyway.

Lou, that has to be a one off trials  bike.  Notice the rearset and lowered pegs, skinny little seat and upright wide bars.  Then notice the front fender (mudguard I believe you blokes style them).  Twin shocks so it's not of the /2 era and trials tires.  Definitely a trialer of the SSDT ilk.

What was left of the plate gave it at 1959 but i couldnt make out any other info the plate was located behind the headlight.
