I watched highlights from the '09 IOM TT on the Speed Channel the other night.  Great stuff!  The scenes with the helmet-cams or the cameras mounted on the forks were nothing short of breathtaking!   [smiley=shocked2.gif]  To be able to stand along side of the road when these bikes scream by would be the experience of a lifetime.

Getting to the IOM TT is definitely one of the "must do" items on my "bucket list"!!

I'm just in awe of the guts these guys must have to ride flat out with stone walls and trees only a few feet away should something go wrong. And notice they are mostly local Northern boys too rather than international superstars. Having said that Agostini was an obvious exception in his day.

Love the race...I have it on my MUST do list. Go Troy....oh yeah, another Aussie! What between him and Mark Webber, OZ is finally getting somewhere again in motor sports.  :)

The speeds they get to are just amazing - makes you think though about safety on the road. Below are two motorcycle ads that appear in Australia. The first really made me think....the other is more of a light hearted look.

Saddly Guy Martin the rider in my previous video stacked it in the last race (seniors) it was on the fastest section 200mph.....hospitalized but not serious Lucky chap me thinks.
