...The Rise and Fall of the British Motorcycle Industry by Abe Aamidor

Just finished reading this recently published (2009) and very interesting book. The title says it all.

I first noticed the book being advertised in The Classic MotorCycle, a nice, quality magazine published in England by Mortons Media Group. A quick check on Amazon.com located the hardcover book for substantially less cost than retail with free shipping and no sales tax. I'm there!

Should you have an interest in Brit bikes, their glorious past and sad demise, I'd recommend this book to you. With good riding weather upon us all, you might want to save it until next winter, less you miss too many great days on the road.
