I am TOTALLY satisfied with the mechanical and cosmetic resultt of my R65LS restoration.  

The bike runs GREAT and is loads of FUN.

I own thanks to Roland Sotello @ Spare Parts, Phila Pa. for his expertise.

Very nice job, Peter !

She looks exactly like my bike (but much cleaner, more shiny paint, and beautiful wheels).   I plan to address my own painting issues this spring/summer.   Perhaps we'll catch you at the rally!

They are original equipment from BMW Germany.  They are black chrome and were expensive.

I have always been one to stay with near original fitments on my restorations.
