Theres an event in Terrell Tx on 3rd July, the American Legion Riders are riding to commerorate the loss of 20 British pilots who died training there in WW2. It ties up with an Event being held in Cambridge (there home base) by the British Legion Riders

Lou, the Terrell, Texas municipal airport did indeed train RAF pilots just after the USA's entry into WWII. I have flown into that field multiple times and have visited the memorial to the gallant Brits who gave their all.

I'll see if some of us North Texas R65ers can make an appearance to honor our allies. As it's just east of Dallas and southeast of Denton, I'm sure I'll be there.

Cool!  Although it will probably be hot.  I'll be we can organize a ride.  Let's see, we have MM, Lee Harvey, Justin, Texas Burt, Caci, and maybe one or two others.  But would it be untoward to show up on German bikes?  Nah!  I'll have to put it on my calendar.  Remind me Monte, I might forget before then.

Could be a good outing for the BSA but doubt anyone would be bothered by BMW,s . I found the link on the Facebook page for the big ride this weekend.
