Tim drove out from San Diego yesterday.  I met him at the hotel/resort they were staying at and he followed me out to the property.  Super nice guy!

He's also a cyclist so we got to talk about bikes (the pedaling kind) while we went through all the parts together.

Walked away with $800 rather than the original $1300 offer. I don't think he found everything he was looking for, and what he did find was a bit beat up (to his expert eyes) but still... he drove off with a good, complete r69s engine, a couple final drives, some old r69s jugs, 5 original carbs, a worthless frame but great rear wheel and a bunch of smaller stuff.

So we (or rather the Estate) is a tiny bit richer  ;) and have less stuff.  Money goes into the Estate account to pay off Estate bills...

Thanks all for your advice...

Graeme,
You couldn't find a better home for the /2 parts than Tim.  Tim is the comsumate professional restorer and has many awards for his work.  I've had the pleasure of meeting him in his immaculate shop here in San Diego.  He does incredible work and is as personable and passionate as they come. I hope everyone has the time to take a look at some of his work.
