Truly, we are socked in.  The old degree-stick read 5 above this morning.  About a foot of snow on the ground, and the back roads (the ones I like) are covered with a treacherous mix of slush, sand, and salt.  Even if you can keep it upright, the road crap will do a job on the bike.

For now, I'm figuring how to attach my new camera to the GPS mount, and dreaming of some neat roads I want to video come spring.

But we Vermonters are used to this.

Diesel.....i had to stall the engine when i got on the hard shoulder probably too late as the damage has already been done.Started up again after the smoke cleared but sounded like a bag of bricks.

Hi Steve,

Spent some time up in Chester VT after Christmas (while my RH cylinder was filling with gas) skiing at Okemo Mt.  We arrived in the rain and left just before the big snow.  Figures.  Had fun anway.

Wherein Vermont R U?

Sorry Melena - K65 - it's a joke.  I installed the front end off a K100RS on to the front of my R65.  I figured I could then call it a K65.  Perhaps it will truely be a K65 when I put a set of Öhlins on the back in place of the Progressive shocks I have now.

Oh, so "K65" is deliberate.  I get it now.

In TX?  Wow.  I rode today. It's over 50 degrees, almost freakishly warm for January, though the rain is all too typical.
