With ANY work stand that puts a motorcycle up off the floor, I would strongly encourage the use of tie down straps -as a minimum- to help secure the bike.
My local BMW guru has a beautiful air lift table that I occasionally get to use. But before I step on the lift switch, the front tire gets locked in a large fixture and tie downs secure any side-to-side movement.
The linked images of the bike with a floor jack holding the chassis while the front wheel dangles in space are disturbing. Like Grandpa Jones line on Hee Haw, "Don't do that !"
