That TV movie I saw way, way back in 1983, "The Day After - Beyond Imagining" was where I got my first glimpse of a Henna Red LS.  After all these years, I still want one.  I have a feeling I will own one before it's all said and done!      ;)

Yes, I recall watching that movie when it first came out (The Day After).   I remember being a bit skeptical with one of the scenes - when many of the cars on the road come to a sputtering stop after an air burst nuke blankets the area with EMP.   The R65LS stops too, but the actor starts talking to it and coaxing it as he tries the starter again and again, and like a weary but loyal steed, it burbles back to life again.   Well, it is pretty unlikely, but I could relate to the whole "talking to the motorcycle on the side of the road hoping it will start back up and move again thing!"

I too can relate to having a one sided conversation with my motorcycles. Sometimes xxx rated, sometimes downright pleading. Sometimes they answer, Most times the don't. One thing for sure I've never had one argue with me. At least not yet.   :(
