Very pretty!

I don't recognize the fairing, either.

For the life of me I can't remember where I bought it. It was about 10 years ago. I think I Goggled "S" style fairings and followed a couple of links. As I recall it wasn't very expensive, around $80. Came finished in gloss black, with hardware and I had it striped to match the bike.

Very nice "Classic" look!
Sweet with the fairing.  Almost "Parabellum" looking.

Gute suchen! low bars, bar end mirrors and it's interesting to see the front engine cover done in black. Nice touch.

Thanks for the complements guys. I love the R90 S, and wanted to create a similar look, but I've come to really appreatiate the outstanding handling characteristics of the R65 on the curvy mountain roads in the canyons outside Salt Lake City.

Boy that looks nice. I hope someone comes up with the product name for that S fairing! Kneepads look great and so does the black cover on the engine. Does give one pause before money goes out to buy another bike. :-/ :-/
1983 R65LS - LRB still my favourite!? 1988 Honda NX250, "Toodles Too" and a Suzuki DR650, "Calypso." All stored in the "Brrrmmm Closet".

I picked up the knee pads at my local BMW dealer some years ago. There are different styles, some larger and more appropriate for the bigger tanks. These are foam w/ an adhesive backing. They've held up well but I do keep the bike garaged. Chicago BMW can generally get vintage parts and offers a 20% discount.

Our buddy Will from England fashioned a similar fairing for "the old girl", his R65.   Almost looks factory furnished!

Ohh - isn't that a pretty colour? I do like it - and the fairing is fine and dandy.

What happend to the front mudguard? Looks a little off-centre.

I do so love those English number plates - you could write the entire Bible on one.... :P
