old Belstaff jacket / how to keep it waterproofed?

I have a great Belstaff riding jacket (gift from an 'ex' 13 years ago), and have noticed the last couple of seasons it gets kind of "soggy" in the rain.  It used to proof me from the water very well, but the wax that protects the fabric is kind of wearing out?

Anyone have Belstaff products that can inform me what kind of wax to buy/use for this type of jacket?  Belstaff no longer makes motorcycle products - bought out by another company it seems.

Melt some Gulf Wax - check the canning section at Wally World. Melt the wax in a double boiler and mop in onto your jacket. It's what the English did to avoid the "soggy". Produces a nice crinkley finish as you wear the garment. Use caution as the hot wax can do a Brazilian Bikini Wax on you in a New York Minute.

Any oilskin/waxed cotton stuff I always use RM Williams. Brilliant.
