Any interest in an r65.org tool-kit flashlight?
« on: September 30, 2008, 05:57:10 PM »
I had a sample made up of a 12 LED flashlight with our website logo on it.  This sucker is really bright and batteries are included  ;)  The price will depend on how many are ordered but shouldn't be over $10.

Judging by the piano keys, it is about 4.5" long ??

I would think that if you wanted to, you could add a couple bucks per light or something and use the surplus to help defray the cost of the website maintenance and the time that you and suraklyn have to spend on its upkeep.

Good eye, Rob...  That will, of course, be corrected.  I double-checked the artwork I sent and the period was in there!

I might need two...and that doesn't include gifts!  :-/

I know I want one to send to Dee, the poor widow of our late, dear airhead Bill Emery.
Everybody can use a flashlight, right?

It would be fun to take one to a rally to be given away as a door prize from "The Forum"!  :)

:(  Give it some more time here for folks to respond.  If you get even close to the number you need, collect up front so you don't have to outlay that much $ to make it happen.  I would be a definite for at least 2 if you can make this happen.  I never thought about putting a flashlight in my toolkit, but that's a great idea.  I always keep one in the car, so I should have one on the bike, right?

Sign me up for one, Justin.  I have yet to find a decent toolkit flashlight that wasn't too big, too dim or too expensive.  That one looks like just the ticket.

Just a heads up to be careful about using the BMW logo if you don't have permission from BMW.  Sometimes they are aggressive in enforcing their trademarks.

We've been over this one already at some point in the past when we did the patches    ::)   (sorry, none of those are left).  I think if we aren't having huge amounts of them made and we aren't selling them outside of the "club" and trying to make a profit we're okay.  Besides, we're promoting BMW motorcycles.   :)
