Solo seat

Hello all,

I'm the proud new owner of an '86 R65Mono and am considering replacing the stock seat with a solo seat and a nice rack to carry gear.  I was wondering if anyone out  there has made this type of customization, and if so, perhaps would have a picture so that i could see how it would look.  Someone suggested to me that i might just take a saw-z-all and cut down the existing seat and have it re-covered, but it is in pretty good shape, so i sort of hate to do that in case i ever wanted to go back.  The rear cowl is missing from the bike, so i need to figure out something to do for aesthetic purposes.  Any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

--Steve

SWEET!  GREAT LOOKING BIKE Rob!  That is exactly what i was thinking about... and of course, you can prolly guess my next question  :D  If you'd be so kind as to share where one might get a seat and rack like that, I'll be very grateful.

Thanks in advance,

I built that using a seat/rack combo intended for the R65/R80g/s series, which was a mono-shock.  But very different from your mono-shock frame... So don't expect a bolt-on solution.
