Too much bad news
« on: August 04, 2008, 08:06:41 PM »
To loosely quote another, "just too much bad news".
Sue going down hard and Bill/Airhead in the worst of ways.
Wife must have spinal fusion & hip replacement.
I could go on about the multiple bad news items, but I need to annonce that I sold my 81 R65.
I regret it already. But priority has been set.
I made the buyer promise to only sell it to me, should it not work our for him.
This is the same promise ( only I make it a contract ) I demand from anyone adopting a rescue animal from me.
We foster animals from time to time.
Sadie will not be with us much longer. Her time is soon. Probably this coming Saturday.
I want to afford her a very respectfull service & to do so required liquid funds. I do not use credit.
I hope all of you will allow me to continue on here as a participant.
I am still a R65 afficionado & will look to aquire another when able.
Troy

Troy,

I am hoping that things go well for you and yours soon, and I am sorry about Sadie.   As with many things
in life, it is often the good ones that tend to be with us the shortest time.   Thoughts and prayers and best wishes
to you and your wife for a successful surgery with a speedy recovery !

Don't worry about hanging about here - once you're part of this family I think that you're always a part of the family,
even if you happen to be "between R65s" at the moment !

Troy,

Things are  happening very fast lately.  I don't know what it is.  Things seem the same, but not the same.

I'm so sorry about Sadie.  I know she is a very special being, especially to you.

I wish your wife the best.  I'm sure it will turn out well, but it will take time and healing.

My thoughts are with you all.  You are definitley part of this forum, so you'd better show up now and then and let us know how things are going.

Take care of yourself through all this.

Yes, there's too much bad news lately.  I've got tears in my eyes again... :'(
So sorry about Sadie, and we'll pray for you and the whole family.  I'll say prayers for a successful surgery and recovery for your wife.

It's a wonderful thing you do to rescue and foster animals and I completely understand your contract terms.  Here's hoping you'll have another (if not the same) R65 again soon as well as another loving pet.
