Looks like maybe somebody spliced in a car alternator, or something.  Cool!

I want the tank....   :o

The reason I didn't do this Bosch alternator mod was because I would loose my Omega Ignition.

Deal breaker   :(

You saw that in Calistoga?  And with the keys in it?   But then I've accidentally left my keys in my bike a couple of times.   :o

That tank is huge.  I think it would look silly on my R65 though.    :-/  This person wants to put on some high mileage probably where there are no gas stations.  I say "wants to" because the bike is so clean.

So, Rob 650, you live in Calistoga?  Cool!  I live in Windsor.  And as soon as I can start riding again you just might see me ride through there on my way to some fun road.   :)

Could you even ride that thing off road?  It looks like dirt would get in there and mess everything up by the alternator and belt.

Melena - I was in Calistoga for the weekend with family.  I live in the san francisco area.

A few days later, my buddy let me know that there were a couple of guys keeping a close eye on me from across the street while I took those pictures.  I'm sure there would have been a dust-up if I actually reached for those keys.

Gorgeous cycle!  If the mileage displayed is accurate, then it is not even broken in yet.
