I am running out of excuses for not working on the LS.    I finally scored a reasonably priced seat off e-Bay, as well as a semi-reasonably overpriced gas cap.    I really don't follow price trends on entire bikes but it sure seems like used parts are starting to cost more and more.    I also have a clutch (thanks Rev. Eddie!) and some lower mileage slugs and jugs (courtesy of Jake) for the garage ornament.  Too much to do...
