who said i couldnt pull the front tire up? and that they wanted video proof of it?

i will find a digtail video camera and will get some pixs!! now i have been real nice to my gal in the shake down/break in period. well today i was putting through more of the paces and started really pushing the supsension, brakes, handling. i took off from a freinds place and got on it hard, and that front lifted right up with a very little tug.

Last person I knew who did that had me helping him pull his driveshaft and gearbox for him. Tried pulling wheelies on his R80GS, then only just made it home with nasty noises.
Had to get a new UJ on the shaft, and I reconned his box for him as the front output bearing (most stressed bearing in the box) was about to collapse as the cage was giving out.

Bill......................;-)

I've had the front end up on my 84 a couple of times. I've also had to replace a cracked front rim. I try to keep both wheels on the ground these days.

...and here I was just thinking about how expensive clutch parts are!   ;D

I think with our low geared final drives it isn't hard to raise the front, even of only by accident.  I did it once even with my Windjammer.

Saw "Wheelie Crazy George" of airhead fame pull a big wheelie on his R100/7 last night at the coffee shop. He does it all the time..... Dew.
