Hey everybody,  just posting a quick howdy so my account doesn't go bye bye.
I'm living in Ohio and hoping to find a nice airhead to live in my garage between rides... :)

I'm sooo new that I still haven't taken the MSF and my last motorcycle ride was on a dirtbike about... umm... 20 years ago?

Welcome aboard!  Say, there's some mc event there in Ohio, I guess in the middle somewhere?

Here in Oregon if you take the MSF course they supply a bike and stuff.  That way you can get it out of the way while you're waiting for a good deal.

Are you looking for an R65 in particular, or just any old airhead?  Either way, good luck, they're around!

Yeah, glad to have you around, Wolfen!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Hopefully, you'll find yourself a nice R65 before Spring arrives, and then you'll begin to find out the joys of R65 ownership!  Lots and lots of loyal owners here at the forum who can help out if you find one that you might consider purchasing as far as what to look for (or avoid), if you need any help.

Cycletrader.com, craigslist, even ebay all have R65s from time to time if you aren't sure of where to look.  Sometimes, though, the best sources are the local newspapers or local bike dealers!

Again, welcome aboard, and we hope to hear from you soon that you've found your "dream bike"!

Welcome to our little forum...John has listed the best sites to look at for a bike. Who knows maybe you'll get really lucky and find one at a garage sale too!!!!
1983 R65LS - LRB still my favourite!? 1988 Honda NX250, "Toodles Too" and a Suzuki DR650, "Calypso." All stored in the "Brrrmmm Closet".
