Tach lights

just a thought...are the wires that go into the tach that run the neutral, temp, highbeam and the other light just the positive and if you hooked it up to the positive on a LED and the ground to the ground and say turned on your high beam, would it work? im thinking that i dont want my tach anymore and i can fab up a indicator panel.

why would you have to stay on the high beam?

and yes you could, remember that one of those is a lamp for the gauge so you really would need that. know unless your crazy like me and know you never want to go back without spending a bunch of money on ebay, you can remove the pins from the plastic clip and then get the male ends that are insulated  and that why your not cutting wires.
