I have registered and spoken with those folks before.  They are very nice, and many speak English very well.

I have noticed that the Germans often refer to their R bikes as "cows" Or sometines just Q. Does anyone have an idea as to why? Just curious.

I think it may be in reference to the german term 'gummikuh', which if my rusty german  knowledge is correct, it's 'rubber cow'. I guess it's along the lines of Harleys being called 'hogs'.

If my BMW folklore is correct, the rubber part had to do with frame flex of the 70's models.

Naturally, the R65 did not exhibit this obscene behavior!  ;D

The Kleineboxer.de website had a pretty neat logo that is no longer on the site any more.  I wonder why?

Did it have a logo in it?  Maybe BMW's logo-nazi's leaned on 'em if it did...

It was pretty cool.  It had a frontal view of a rider on a Beemer approaching and leaning, with the BMW roundel worked into the rider's form on the bike.  (At least I thought it was cool!)

I guess they decided to upgrade the look of the site, 'cause it's long gone... too bad.... :-?
