PC680 Odyssey Battery Posts
« on: August 22, 2019, 02:17:16 PM »
I have not been able to find out from the threads if the Odyssey battery needs the right angle post kit or what posts are required to hook up in the R65. Can anyone give me some direction here. Thanks

I made my own 90 degree posts from copper water pipe .
Flattened it out in a vice then cut it to fit the dimensions required bend it 90 degrees in a vice then drill two holes for the bolts .

Thanks - I take it that means you need the right angle brackets. Fabbing your own makes a lot of sense as the "kit" is expensive. Cheers

I put the battery cables on without the angle adapter and the cables were too stressed, so I put the adapters on .

I don't have an Odyssey but my battery does have  the same vertically threaded terminal arrangement. I have to say I like it a lot and find it so much easier than using a nut and bolt on a lug.

I've never had an issue without the adapters, either.  I used to run a PC680 in everything until the prices went crazy...
