Foot Pegs Vs Floor Boards?
« on: August 16, 2019, 01:08:45 PM »
Does anyone know if floorboards can be fitted to the r 65 as opposed to foot pegs? Are any available commercially and would it be worth it?

Thanks in Advance.

I use the back pegs to rest my heel on and the front peg supports the front of my foot. I didn't realize I was doing this until I took off the rear pegs and found that using just the front pegs was VERY uncomfortable after about a half hour.

So as it stands now I'm using both sets of pegs as "floorboards" and am comfortable with it.
it. Size of foot ,riding position, etc., would make it different for everyone.

If this didn't work for me, I would definitely be looking for some floorboards.

I've been thinking about this also - I would be interested to know if anything is available - even if I had to modify the boards in some way.
