Hi Raygun,
Omega Ignition. Â It is a German ignition that fits of the front of the Bosch Alternator. Â The sensor bolts on the front of the crank and not the cam shaft. Â Original Bean can remains an can be used as a back up. Â Super stable. Â Advance curves are computer generated and adjustable. For that year you need Type "W" i think -same as I have on my 1980.
If you still have the old coils that is OK but you have to stradle both coils with the wires from the Omega to get both cylinders to fire. Â When you get there you will understand what I mean.
I have since upgraded my coils to a single Dyna with two wires out. Â Works great.
Call me if you have any questions. Â 770-414-5642.
