What first?
« on: November 15, 2007, 09:28:38 AM »
The snow is in our valley now and so 'The Plastic Pig' and me wont be going anywhere untill March.
The bike had a major overhaul 8000Kms ago but I think must be needing at least some light maintenance over the winter. Being a bit cak handed with the spanners I dont realy know where to start.... what should I do and in what order to make sure she is ready to roll come the spring? Any advice gratefully received.

Cheers

Dick

Dick,
Here is a handy little check sheet. You must however be wearing a factory shop smock to use it properly  ;).

...the tank says "Triumph."  Here's the thread on a Brit-Bike forum where I found the picture:

http://forum.britbike.com/

It looks to me like the url won't take you right to the correct thread, dunno why.  It's in the Rod and Tappen forum, under the subject "Is it street legal?"

I'm curious to see if this works.

Ok, it didn't.  The Rod and Tappet is here:

http://www.britbike.com/ubb/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?/ubb/forum/f/51.html

but I don't know how to make a link to the correct thread.
