Cable protection covers
« on: May 31, 2017, 06:16:52 AM »
Hello all, first time I've posted on this board so I hope my post isn't too far out of what's supposed to be here.  I'm wondering what I could use for extra protection for a clutch cable under the instrument housing and around the steering/frame area.  Would heat shrink work or is a rubber slip over better?  Thanks for any information. Cheers.

Mine actually has a short length of black vinyl vacuum tube slid over it and held in place with a couple of dabs of silicone sealer. Don't know if it was necessary but it works.
Keep your bike in good repair: motorcycle boots are not comfortable for walking.
