Missing Impact Pad hole blank - '83 r65LS
« on: March 28, 2017, 02:03:16 PM »
While riding the other day I glanced down and noticed that the plastic blank that fills the rectangular hole in the impact pad was missing. A quick check of the parts fiche on the various dealer sites do not list this part at all.

I am tempted to just buy a cheap rocker switch of the correct size just to fill in the hole. Any ideas about getting a replacement? Any and all help appreciated.

Yeah, "lamont" is the alias for Larry Chabira, who is actually a member here, or maybe used to be, and a long time LS rider. He's also active on Facebook, if you spend any time there. If anyone will have one handy, it'll be him. I've done business with him many times, including buying the taller /6 rear end I put in my '82 R65. His eBay store is also a great place to watch, as he lists all of his parts at low fixed prices, with no reserve; I've seen some things sell for ridiculous prices when there were no other bidders.
