Hello !
Funny you ask that ! I'm waiting mine for a few weeks now.
In Europe, BMW set up a direct shop for old cars and bikes.
The ignition contact is marked as available and "orderable".
Better yet, they ask for a code meaning that they can produce one switch with YOUR key code.
This is what I ordered, and nobody told me it was NLA but they told me it will take some time.
This doesn't surprise me. When I restarted my R65 in 2012, I ordered the little rubber check valve at the bottom of the airbox in the post 81 models. It was said to be available. But I waited for more than one year for it to show !
I've just checked the BMW shop, and that ignition switch is NLA now. So either they found none in the bin when I ordered mine, or it was NLA for some time but they forgot to switch it off on the fiche...
I've to inquire at my dealer to see what status has my order ...
