Manual Choke conversion?

Well I suppose if the existing setup is defective then it's a simple replacement but the cost doesn't seem to reflect the simplicity. Surely new cables for the stock setup couldn't cost much more.

Hi Barry,

I thought the kit was a little pricy, I think my cable is okay, it worked okay before I stripped her down,although it hasn't been used running since 2000!!!!!!!



Anyway, we shall find out shortly...

I have done something similar with a cut off push bike spoke on either side using the nut that secures it to the rim, a second hand double butted spoke is probably the best way to go.

You can source almost for free from your local push bike store.  It is no better than the original system, but is simpler and more aesthetically pleasing if you are simplifying your 'special'
