Lost turnsignals

Back for more advice. All turnsignals on my 83 R65 LS stopped working fairly abruptly. Replaced flasher (low hanging fruit) ,nothing. Checked fuses. nothing. Pulled and cleaned up all bulbs. Nothing. Thought ground. As I manipulated flasher mount, I would get 2-3 flashes, then nothing. Tried to run a ground to the brown flasher terminal without results. I am assuming swith is OK as I get a click at flasher when I switch either way. Thoughts?? Schematic seems to show central ground to the circuit. Where? Why did directly grounding not help.
HELP and Thanks,
Tim

Sounds as if you've located the general area of your turn signal issues. There may be a poor connection that you need to find. Happy hunting.

+1 on the flasher mount corrosion.

I had the same issue. Take the flasher mount into pieces and clean every metal part from corrosion.
