Resetting tripmeter

I checked the riders manual and didn't see this listed. I don't see a reset button. Am I missing something obvious?

Depending the year the bike was made, the reset button is either a gummy tit on the front face (later models) or a knob at the back near the odometer cable (earlier models).
I've never seen the earlier R65 so can't tell if you've to push it, turn it or squeeze it....

On the early model you turn it and it's quite a big obvious knob on the underside of the speedo.  It may be convenient but I'm glad I don't have the potentially leaky tit on speedo face.

What were they thinking of -  perhaps squeezing it !

They needed a trip meter that could be reset whilst buried in factory fairings
